Government Affairs Committee Recap

With just over one month until the Midterm Election, BIASC's and BIASC Los Angeles/Ventura's Government Affairs Committees met together to discuss both regional issues (SCAG, SCAQMD updates, Construction General Permit Renewal, and more) and LA-centric issues (Safe & Clean Water Proposition, LA County Rent Control, LA County Affordable Housing Action Plan, Inclusionary Zoning, and more).

Special thanks to Shane Chapman, Assistant General Manager and Chief Administrative Officer at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for giving a presentation on CA Water Fix, the newly adopted budget for 2019/20, and conservation efforts moving into the future.
