The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) today announced the keynote speakers for its annual 2024 Building Industry Show (BIS)––Southern California’s largest building industry trade show––taking place from September 18-19 at Pechanga in Temecula, California. This year’s panel includes sought-after real estate market consultant and Vice President of Clarity Real Estate Advisors, Adam Artunian, along with FOX News Media contributor, author, broadcaster, and entrepreneur, Steve Hilton.
“Our continued mission with BIS is to bring together homebuilding industry professionals for connection, education, and inspiration,” said BIASC COO/EVP Craig Foster. “This year, we’re especially thrilled to invite two distinctive keynote speakers to our forum, both from very different backgrounds, to share their unique insights and fresh perspectives on the housing market in California from a financial analyst and political journalist lens.”
Adam Artunian brings more than two decades of experience as a renowned real estate advisor and financial analyst. His extensive real estate background includes serving senior and VP positions for prominent, nationally recognized firms, including Reeb Development Consulting, John Burns Real Estate Consulting, and Steadfast Companies, a full-service real estate investment and development firm. Adam is widely respected for his thorough and analytical approach to evaluating real estate opportunities.
Steve Hilton joined FOX News Media in December of 2016 and currently serves as a contributor. Most recently, he hosted The Next Revolution on Sunday nights through May of 2023 and now regularly offers political and tech industry expertise across all FOX News Media platforms. In addition to his role at FNC, Hilton is the co-founder of Crowdpac, an independent and non-partisan Silicon Valley political and data start-up. He also teaches at Stanford University’s Institute of Design (d.school) and is the author of the UK “Sunday Times” bestseller “More Human: Designing a World Where People Come First.” Previously, Hilton served as a senior adviser to former United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron and, prior to the 2010 general election, was Prime Minister Cameron’s head of strategy. Before his work in politics, Steve co-founded Good Business, a consulting firm and the award-winning London Restaurant, The Good Cook.
Beyond its keynote speakers, BIS’s robust, two-day program includes a sold out member exclusive event, “Meet the Builder,” featuring Brookfield Residential, CBC Home “Crafted by Catherine,” KB Home, K Hovnanian Homes, Lennar, LGI Homes, Melia Homes, Meritage Homes, Pacific Communities, Ravello Holdings Inc, Richmond American Homes, Thomas James Homes, Toll Brothers, Tri Pointe Homes, Warmington Residential, and Woodbridge Pacific Group. Attendees can also expect an extensive exhibitor floor with more than 85 participants, an Educational Morning Session led by the SAGE 55+ Housing Council, and a Kick Off Casino Night Party on Wednesday evening. The Builders vs. Associates Golf Tournament is already sold out, but limited spots are still available for the Temecula Valley Wine Tour.
Immediately following BIS is the Installation Gala––an exciting, “Casino Night”-themed soiree that will celebrate all incoming 2025 Boards and Chapter Presidents, including BIASC Chair Mike Balsamo, Rancho Mission Viejo. The event will feature the installations of the BIASC Regional, San Bernardino County Chapter, Riverside County Chapter, and Coachella Valley Chapter Boards and induction of the 2024 BIASC Hall of Legends nominees.
“There’s so much to look forward to at this year’s BIS––including a long list of exciting events and celebrations, many of which are nearly sold out,” said Foster. “If you haven’t registered yet, time is of the essence. We’re all looking forward to a very memorable BIS ‘back at Pechanga’ this year.”
The registration window for BIS 2024 is closing soon. Visit https://buildingindustryshow.com for additional details, or contact Laura Barber, Vice President of Events & HR, at lbarber@biasc.org.
